Transmission, Symptoms, Treatment
Most sexually transmitted infections (STIs) do not cause any symptoms, but they can still be transmitted. If you are or have been sexually active, it is important to get tested for STIs even if you have no symptoms.
FYI: when we refer to the penis or vagina here, we mean both cis penises and neopenises, as well as cis vaginas and neovaginas. This is because neither hormone treatment nor gender affirming surgery eliminates the risk of transmitting or contracting an STI or HIV.
